This policy explains what personal data Constient collects when you use constient.com or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with and the rights you have. It is written in plain English and applies to Constient Global Solutions Pvt Ltd (India), Constient Global Information Technology Consulting L.L.C (UAE) and our United States office. Who is responsible for your data
Constient Global Solutions Pvt Ltd, No 16, Ganapathy Rao Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai 600099, India, is the data fiduciary for this website under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Where you deal with our UAE entity, Constient Global Information Technology Consulting L.L.C, 45 Al Shabiya, M-11, Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, that entity is the controller under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE PDPL). Our US office at 3121 US Highway 22, Suite 303, Branchburg, NJ 08876 handles data of US residents under the state privacy laws that apply to them. What personal data we collect
Through our contact and demo request forms we collect your name, work email address, phone number, company, country and the message you write, together with your consent to be contacted. If you apply for a role, we collect your CV and the details in it. If you email us, we keep the email and our reply.
Through analytics we collect technical data about your visit: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site and the time of your visit. This data is aggregated where possible and is not used to identify you. We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use form and email data to answer your enquiry, arrange calls and demos, and send you the information you asked for. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and, once a conversation has started, our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry or the steps needed before entering a contract with you or your employer.
We use analytics data to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site secure and working. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a functioning website, with your consent for any cookies that are not strictly necessary. We use recruitment data to assess your application, on the basis of the steps you ask us to take before a possible employment contract. We may also keep records where a law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted, unless the enquiry has become a client relationship, in which case it is kept under the contract. Recruitment data is kept for 12 months after the process ends unless you ask us to delete it sooner or agree to a longer period. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months. Email records may be kept longer where a legal or accounting obligation applies. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the India DPDP Act 2023 you have the right to access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed, to correct or erase it, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, to a grievance redressal process and to withdraw consent at any time. Under UAE PDPL you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, including to direct marketing and automated decisions. Under applicable US state laws you may have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data.
To exercise any right, email consult@constient.com with the subject line "Data request" and tell us which right you are exercising. We respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we may ask you to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, UAE Data Office or your state attorney general, as applicable.
Security, and changes to this policy
We protect personal data with access controls, encryption in transit and the security practices we apply to client work, and we limit access to staff who need it to respond to you. If a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the relevant authority as the applicable law requires.
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Questions and requests go to consult@constient.com.
